With just six employees, Galeri Kristal Bazaar Store began its journey. As the Kilit brothers, Süleyman, Tuncay, and Taner, joined the business, growth accelerated. Beyond serving newlyweds, the company expanded to meet the evolving needs of Türkiye’s booming tourism industry.

The Kilit brothers discovered China and began importing kitchenware. Galeri Kristal became the first Turkish company to import such products from China.

That same year marked Kilit Group’s first venture into hotel operations with Cam Pansiyon, a 32-room guesthouse in Antalya's Kemer district.

Turan Kilit purchased the land now known as the Galeri Kristal complex. A large-scale warehouse was established on the site, allowing hotel owners to explore and experience products firsthand before placing bulk orders.

Recognizing the hospitality sector’s growing need for personal care products, Kilit Group founded Kristal Kimya, specializing in cosmetics and hotel amenities manufacturing.

Shortly after, a Graphic Design and Printing Office was established to meet the industry's demand for customized visual materials.

In alignment with the Republic of Türkiye’s industrialization vision, Kristal Endüstriyel was founded, pioneering in the design, planning, and production of industrial kitchen equipment.

Responding to increasing demand for cooling systems, Crystal Dondurma was launched for the domestic market and Crystal Galeto for international markets.

The first hotel of the Crystal Hotels brand, Crystal Palace, opened its doors in Boğazkent, Antalya. It was soon followed by new openings in Kemer, Belek, Side, Alanya, Lara, Bodrum, and Cappadocia, laying the foundation for a robust hospitality portfolio.

Ar Yıldız, a company previously partnered with Kilit Group, was fully acquired and integrated into the group structure. With this acquisition, Kilit Group became one of Türkiye’s leading manufacturers of stainless-steel kitchenware.

Crystal Family, the first five-star hotel under the Crystal Hotels brand, opened in Belek, Antalya, marking a significant milestone in the group's hospitality investments.

To meet the textile needs of the tourism industry, Maxstyle was established. With a wide range of home and hotel textiles, it quickly achieved a strong export volume, contributing significantly to the national economy.

Aiming to provide healthy and reliable food for its guests, the group launched Kilit Et, initiating high-quality production and supply in the livestock sector.

Kilit Global, which brought thousands of tourists to Türkiye each season, became one of the rare travel agencies to be listed in Fortune 500 Türkiye. After 13 years of proven success as a tour operator, Kilit Global ceased operations as of 2025.

Prioritizing tourism and hospitality investments along with supply operations, the Kilit family brought all their hotel properties together under a single umbrella: Kilit Hospitality Group (KHG).

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Tuncay Kilit and his team, a partnership was formed between Galeri Kristal and Fissler. Galeri Kristal became the exclusive distributor of the Fissler brand in Türkiye.

Open to every form of innovation and creativity from the very beginning, the Kilit brothers brought to life a long-envisioned idea: a chain of retail stores. Today, Gallery Crystal operates nearly 60 stores across all 7 regions of Türkiye.

More than just a hotel, the Nirvana Cosmopolitan project was launched as “an entirely new lifestyle hub for Antalya.” With its innovative sub-brands, Nirvana Cosmopolitan continues to enrich the city’s urban life.

Embracing a vision of sustainable and self-sufficient growth, Kilit Group expanded its production operations by establishing Tulû Porselen, a brand that fuses art and design.

Tourism investments took on a new color. One of Kilit Group’s signature projects, Cosmos Moonlight, raised the bar in Antalya’s tourism scene, while Cosmos Theatre redefined the city’s entertainment landscape as a next-generation performance venue.
